Forum Account Validation

Hi all,

Really soon, we will start to validate all forum accounts with your vsb activation details (serialcode). For new registrations, this is already the case...

Earlier today, i couldn't connect to the forum. I filled my email and key but "an error occured". Tonight, it's ok. What's the clue ?

We've done some maintenance work the last 15 minutes and the serial validation has been enabled for everyone. When you browse to the forum now, you'll be asked to enter your serial if you did not already entered it.

Hopefully, this will keep the bogus accounts out

Can we put a "Not Verified" message on users after a week or so who haven't, so we can see who is and who isn't legit.

total agree with this
that way we can see who was using a cracked version and delete those accounts
but I would give it two weeks
and you should send out a massive email to let everyone know they need to verify their account cause some people it might take longer than a week

I am legit and I haven't been here for a long while. So I guess your idea would make a lot of innocent people look bad too.
