Taskbar Color Flash

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find it. When you click on an icon in the taskbar, there is a small flash/animation of the icons color as it's opening. Is there a way to remove/edit this?

The only way to remove it would be to make the Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Basic > TaskBand > TaskItemButton a solid image with no transparency.

Anybody know how to get rid of this flash/animation. Solid image doesn't work. I can't find it in Glows or Animations. Can't find it anywhere.
Any ideas?

Do you mean the pinned icons ? Have a look to your image located in Taskbar & System Tray> Taskbar > Basic> TaskItemButton

I don't know where the flashing light/animation is, but using solid taskbar buttons images work

I have solid black image and transparency unclicked on all states of the Taskbar Button image and I'm still getting this glow/flash/animation when I click a pinned icon:



I don't know what else I can do.

Ah, I'm sorry. I thought you meant the orange animation on taskbar buttons

Same issue here..it's so ugly ..it looks cool with the right themes..but when you want a dark or solid taskbar..it sucks.. shame you can't remove it or something...

Still messing with ways to at least make it look decent.. ah well.  Only thing I know is to change the icons colors to get at least a deent looking color but that doesn't help much..

Didn't realize this post was so old..sorry for necroing it..though am curious if anyone has any pointers or new ideas around this?
