In Vista I looked everywhere in msstyles and shellstyle but could never find the background or text color.

I have never seen a vs yet that has.

If you find out please post how. Good luck!

The only way to avoid that for run window is to set white color to primary panel of taskdialog

weird if you want to color it  Shocked

Maybe in Win7 but not for Vista.

I've got the Primary Panel (and everything else!) in Shell>TaskDialog and TaskDialogStyle to black with white text and I still get this crap:

Guess it's another good reason to go Win7?

btw I like your UFOs and aliens Smiley

thanks  Smiley hope to release a beta soon

Anyway , win 7 is better than vista , not I had pbs with it but overall , win 7 is more practical ( jumplist users are nice add IMO I use them all day ) and very stable , and apps compatibility just excellent .

Boot and startup faster than vista too and less memory consuming  by far .
