This is my problem

i try to change the buttons of explorer,  but i encounter a problem:
after modifications of my images in browseui file and restart, the black line between the buttons is present:

in other case, i get that:

the lign cuts my button

i know i must create an alpha layer in channel tab, but how must I fill it, what image must i change etc?
If someone succeed to correct this problem....

sorry for my english

i guess, one of your buttons is exactly one pixel too small, please compare the original width with your files.

thank for helping

but i tried all modifications possible since 3-4 hours, i ddidn't succeed , i have almost the same result ; i succeeded to delete the black lign but now i have a transparent lign which continues to cut my button (left),

i looked in others browseui: yours, longhorn, lumen, cairo etc, but the problem appears only when i use my image (577/578/579/581.bmp)

I abandon.... Sad

i've made very good experiences with GIMP to create the concerning images.
NOT Photoshop with Alphachannel conversion.

take an original BMP, open your Button-Pic, copy all into the original pic, set the old layer to 0% opacy.

If some areas are displayed wrong (white or black "error" pixels), it helps to leave the old original layer to 1%(!) opacy, so it's invisible, but still there.
this helps a lot with some Graphics in the browseui

thank again,

i tried with GIMP

i get this result, it is not perfect, because I would have liked the space between the 2 buttons to be smaller

 i'm rather satisfied
