I have "resized" the left portion of my address bar by taking the address bar image into Photoshop, enlarging the canvas x amount of pixels to the left (the same amount I want it to 'shrink' down by), then changing the left sizing margin appropriately (making sure sure to add the added width on top of the current left pixel allocation -- so for instance, if sizing margin had values of 3,3,3,3 and I added 10 pixels to the left of the image, I would now change it to 13,3,3,3).  Finally, I would change the content margins appropriately by adding the same added width (10 pixels in my example) to the left content margin.

Perhaps you can try the same on the Search box section.

you can only make it smaller, not bigger

the searchbox image is located in the Basic part in a subfolder.

make a new image with empty space left or right from the box and adjust the sizing and content margins..

you can check it in Lonhornfusions M7 VS or in my M7 Remix III or Longhorn Concept Theme on Deviantart, how it is made.

Thanks for all of your help i was wondering sunbeam2000 if you had considered using the longhorn back and forward buttons in a new style with a glass effect start panel ?

By the way i love your themes thanks for pointing them out to me .

i have an idea of using the back and forward buttons from longhorn with a glass start menu also putting a w7 taskbar .

would love you to give this ago as well.    Wink
