I have a more difficult issue too when trying this wonderful theme from jamie Green aka neiio on deviantart

dark vertex one , aeroglass works with all themes I tested but not this one

I don't know anything about Aeroglass. I don't use it. Aeroglass has nothing to do with OldNewExplorer though.

I think this theme doesn't have transparent borders so you can't see Aero Glass effect through windows frames. May be you can try to make them transparent in the msstyle

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with the UNITY 2016 project... The very top of the caption frame is located in the shadows part so I could make it a bit rounded.  For the rebar just remove the image properties from Toolbars, Headers, & Rebar > Rebar > NavBar > Aero make the BGType None.

anyway I solved the pb with help from Mtdirector but decided not to make navbar transparent

happy with result:) your theme became my fav one for daily use ( most of my windows apps suit very well )

I just set a custom background picture to add more flavour
