Guys, where am I missing frames to cause this?



In basic mode, however, the frames are showing:



It's in the Path vs....

Because you have transparency in your window frames. Here it is with solid color frames:




Blue is Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Top
Red is Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Bottom

Because you have transparency in your window frames. Here it is with solid color frames:




Blue is Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Top
Red is Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Bottom

So, what would be a fix that wouldn't cause issues elsewhere? Setting the Transparency=0 in the .theme seems to give me light colorization of the shadow/blur around the edges and doesn't really fix the menu....

There isn't any. That's just the way it is set up.

You can go into the RCData folder in sidebar.exe in Program Files > Windows Sidebar and change a lot of png images like the selection highlight etc but I don't, offhand, see anything in there about frames

Oh OK, well that's fine with me actually. I'll leave it alone then. It's use-able, and not everyone uses the gadgets. I don't.
