Hello,

As you all may know, Microsoft just pushed out a major update for Windows 8.1, almost like a service pack. However, this update makes breaks themes made for Windows 8.1. Is there any way to get these themes to work on the update?

To get the Start Screen PopUp Menus do what Grimm and Panda say here http://vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2006.msg11760#msg11760

To fix Modern Apps animation when minimizing etc replace the AMAP in your 8.1 msstyle with the AMAP from 8.1.1 Aero

That's odd. Anyway if you have the update installed do this:

The default way:

1) Run your 8.1 msstyle in WSB Beta in Ribbon mode
2) Click Add Class
3) Type in ImmersiveStart::Menu
4) Save the msstyle
5) Reopen it and you should have a new class  Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu
6) Add a fillcolor to ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpBackground
7) Copy/Paste or just enter all the properties and values from Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpItem image in the 8.1.1 aero msstyle (except FILENAME:IMAGEFILE) to the one in your msstyle.
Add the image from Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpItem in the 8.1.1 aero msstyle  to the one in your msstyle by exporting it to your desktop and then adding it using the Add Property button (filename, imagefile, choose the image). The image has to have a solid color
8) Save it and you'll have the Start Screen PopUp Menu

A Better Way ( found by Albertt To)

Seems to work for the most part, but the context menu doesn't look right:

What's it supposed to look like?

In this pic:

Pink is Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpItem > Normal
Yellow is Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpItem > Hot

Unknown > ImmersiveStart::Menu > PopUpBackground > FILLCOLOR is necessary but doesn't actually color anything.

Don't know how to change the white borders or checks & arrows which is why I posted this:

The problem im facing now as shown in the screenshot is that there's a black border around each item in the context menu and that the font is not correct.

This is what it looks like (but that's not how it's suppose to be):

Also, I'm not sure by what you mean by AMAP when it comes to fixing the minimizing modern apps animation.

Like I said only use solid colors in the images. Add a font

Fixed the problem now, turns out it wasn't because the image wasn't fully opaque, but rather I was missing some properties. How do I exactly fix the minimizing animation for modern apps?

Switching AMAPs to fix the animation glitch is more problematical than I first thought. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi!
I tried these steps, but the context menu is still not working (if i right-click on a tile, i can only select it).
Here's my updated version, can someone check it? Thanks.
