Importing Theme Win 8.1

Hi guys, need some help here. I would like to convert my favorite Win 7 Theme for Win 8.1 but I can't even import it. I followed these steps:

1. Open WSB and click Open then Import a Windows 7 theme
2. Save the file to where ever you want
3. Click Open again and load the theme you just saved
4. You can now save and test your theme properly

but it doesn't seem to work. Preview window stays like this:




Is there something else I have to do before importing?

Worked fine on my end, sometime there's a permmisiions issues where you save the file.

You have to expand the tree view for something to show up in the preview.

Worked for me too. Saves and tests as a 8.1 msstyles.

Attached a theme folder in a zipfile if you want it.

Theme works thanks a lot.

Oh and importing from desktop works fine. Seems like it was a permissions problem.

Having another problem now. Converted a few Win 7 visual styles without any problems but this one doesn't seem to work for me.

If i try to test it the screen just turns blue. Converting seemed to work fine but the vs just changes the colors.

This vs comes with multiple .msstyles for different fonts but this shouldn't be problem right?


Would appreciate if someone could try to convert it.
