Taskbar Shadowed Text
[attachment=0:18x0kybg]shadow.png[/attachment:18x0kybg]
This little StyleHackes simulates a dropshadow under the taskbar text by using the TextGlow properties.
The glow properties can be found and changed in: Taskbar & Tray Notify > Taskband > Aero > Toolbar.

Hey, thanks for the stylehack.  Is there any way I can edit the stylehack myself through Vista Style Builder?  Maybe there's a variable added somewhere?  There's too many places for me to search for it  Smiley

The stylehack adds everything in the Taskbar & Tray Notify > Taskband > Aero > Toolbar element.

At the moment it is not easily possible to change StyleHacks. It is possible to create your own or use the Difference Tool to find out what a stylehack did.

Hi Andreas, is there a way to make texts look like Mac (black text with white glow or something like that)?

Sorry for that question I found it. But this is not the same, even not close to how Mac looks. What I want is the text like in Safari toolbar or other things

There are any possibility to change glow (and/or other attributes) when app is "calling" (orange color)?

I spent hours on the flashbutton. No-go.

I wonder if something similar can be done with the text in the places bar.

As you can see with the pic the left arrow/triangle on the Control Panel link has black glow rendered after some tweaking, can it be turned on for the Text labels too does anyone know? Smiley
