How to repair Jump List icons in Windows 8.1

Is it possible to fix the blue pin , red close button and dark arrow icons in the jump list when using a Windows 8 theme in Windows 8.1 http://imgur.com/OgnGJhd[/img]

If that's all you want then:

 Remove all properties from:

Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List
Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List Extended
Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List Separator

 Now add the properties

WIDTH:INT of 16 to Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List
WIDTH:INT of 5 and HEIGHT:INT of 2 to Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List Extended
WIDTH:INT of 4 and HEIGHT:INT of 10 to Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > Programs List Separator

Remove all properties from Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Controls > More Programs Arrow

But there's a lot more to making the JumpList look right. Also I'm not sure how this will affect your Start Menu if you have one

Also so far I haven't been able to save anything to a 8 msstyles in 8.1

3am thanks a lot ,you are a great help . The only thing that remains is to fix the upper part of the jump lists where the grey pin in a square box shows on the right side. (of course if it is possible) http://imgur.com/Xjv8J4e[/img]

To see the Pin icons do everything I said in the above post and then remove all properties from

Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Places List > Panels > Places List

and add property WIDTH:INT of 26 to it.

If you are using an 8 theme in 8.1 then

reduce the first value in your content margins

depending on what version of how you are fixing the jumplist at one of these possible locations:

Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Jump List > Panels > Jump List User
Start Menu > Panels > Basic > Programs List > Panels > More Programs Extended
Start Menu > Panels > Aero > Top > Programs List > More Programs Extended

Try all 3 until you find the right one. Unless you are using some other fix I haven't seen.

Thanks a lot 3am , it was : Start Menu > Panels > Aero > Top > Programs List > More Programs Extended.  Now I have that jump list the way I wanted it to be. (here is a pic) http://i.imgur.com/nHtgAuF.png[/img]
