Im having this wierd graphic glitch on thumbnails & control background. When i peek and move my cursor to the next app, it flashes grey color as seen on the preview. This only happens if im on desktop. If there's an active application opened at fullscreen, everything looks fine.

Do you get this only when testing with wsb or also in a msstyles you applied in personalization?

I see it when testing a background color different from the one in my applied theme on both the left and right depending on how I move.

It's likely the animation is picking up the cached image of the applied theme's background. Once you actually apply the new msstyles with the new background you likely won't see it again. You may have to reboot to see this because the image is cached by DWM which is always on in 8.

You can also get rid of it by unchecking "Animations in the Taskbar" in Performance Options > Visual Effects in the Control Panel if you want

This same thing has started to happen even if the theme is applied through personalization menu.
Restart won't do any tricks.

Any fix ?

Edit: I tried to reinstall uxstyle, but i ran into some serious problems again. Just black screen after boot.
I tried to delete all custom themes, but one of them is used by winlogon.exe and it can't be deleted. I think that's the cause of black screen, it tries to load theme which no longer exists.

Didn't care to restore my system anymore. I'll see into it in somepoint.
Fuck im bored of this messing, it used to be too easy with 7.

you have this command in two places man taskbandextendet ui  also taskbandextendetui 8 you must put the same image in these two places look also the transparent bools in aero taskband extendet ui transparent bool is checked because the image is transparent normally in basic mode you have solid image you can not put transparent image basic mode have inherited transparent bool but not in the option look also for exactly correct margins (sizingmargins) good for you if you make the image with this size pixels like original also they removed aero blur shader you can also download and instal the aero glass from big muscle installer v1.2 recommendet you dont need the tweaker in windows 8.1 its dificult

Taskband > aero> taskbandextendetui > horizontal > thumbnails controls > background --- always transparent background with checked transparent bool look the sizing is 6x5px make you the same image with these pixes 6x5 dont touch the content margins they must be 1, 2, 2, 3
Taskband > horizontal > Basicmode> thumbnails controls > background make the same image 6x5px but solid look allso
Taskband > aero> taskbandextendetui > horizontal > thumbnails controls > look this checked composited bool you can uncheck this but not remove and thats it i thing but the border inside this the window white transparent border its like that because its still aero they only is removed the blurshader of borders but they cant not completely removed all transparency in all windows they are also stupid if you look this frameborder of the windows inside this background thats is stil aero of windows 7 you cannot change this because aero is transparency not solid basic and highcontrast are solid but not aero .. how many bugs you can find also .. welcome to the bord man
