Unfortunately that effect has been removed from DWM.

You can use the Glyphs of the caption buttons for the glow. You just have to modify the content margins on the buttons to adjust the glow to fit.

Hi xXiNightXx
How do you exactly do this, in wsb? I made a test where I exported your Glyphs png files. Then If I import your png in my own theme, it ask to resize or replace. None of the way I can get it to fit, the png are too small.

Hi again xXiNightXx
I simply don't get it. Where do you modify the content margins, in wsb? There is an option to add contens margins, but I can't see this has beed added in your theme either.

He didn't need to add content margins because they are already there in default Aero.
For instance at Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Controls > Captions > Window > Close Button > Normal Button > Active and Inactive he changed the values to -12, -9, -9, -9.
To change the margins just click the values, replace them with your own and click enter.
He made changes to all the button margins so that the glow he added to all DPIs of all caption button glyph images would fit right just like he said.
And by the way if you are importing the new images I'd recommend replacing the old ones.

Hi again
I am still a little bit confused about these 4 digits. What is the row/sequence of -12, -9, -9, -9, I need to know how wsb reads the digits/numbers. Is this 1 number right, left. top or button?

Hi PandaX I cannot modify the original aero.msstyle from windows 8.1 with WSB. There is no problems with win 8.0 themes and WSB. If I take the 8.1 areo.msstyle and compile a new one with wsb, windows 8.1 will not use/accept it. What am I doing wrong? PS. I am using the win 8.1 shell folder.

What error is it giving?
I'm using UltraUXThemePatcher at the moment and it's working fine, did you reboot after installing it?

There is no error It just don't load Yes I did reboot. I will mail the original aero.msstyle, only modification is that black text is change to more white with wsb. Please test/try it, and see if you can make it run. Regards Nighthawk

When you opened aero did you open it from C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero or did you copy the msstyles to another folder? Because all of the fonts are missing which is why it's not testing.

You don't have to open it from its original location, however if you're opening an unmodified default Aero you need to copy then en-US (or whatever locale folder you have) as well because WSB reads the fonts and strings in there. Once you save the theme with WSB, WSB will take the fonts and strings and store it in the msstyles itself so you don't need it again.
