I have downloaded the latest ver. of WSB and have been working on a new theme. I have gone more or less from my notes on win 7 styles.
Some of these same locations seem right for Win 8, but I can't get the file explorer backgrond color to change. I have searched this forum but don't
find anything. This sys. is Win 8 64 bit. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS, Undine.

You mean the main Explorer background? Just like 7 Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > FILLCOLOR:COLOR

Thanks for the quick reply 3am. I had the same route as you gave. I have changed several other backgrounds that work OK
,but the file explorer BG will not change from bright white. It shows grey in the block in WSB, but when I save it and copy the new files in
themes folder it makes no change. I've tried re-booting, but no change. Thanks for your help.

I see no reason why that wouldn't work, I tested it and it works fine.
