Hi guy can anyone tell me where i can change the colour of taskbar buttons thanks in advance

Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Basic > TaskBand > TaskItemButton. Edit the images.

Thanks for your fast reply is there another location for active windows or windows that are open and you mouse over cant seem to change this colour

That takes the color of the icon. It's a windows "feature". Only way to get rid of it is the uncheck Start Menu and Taskbar Animations in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Performance Information and Tools\Advanced Tools\Adjust the Appearance and Performance of Windows\ Visual Effects. Or make the buttons a solid color.
