Hey, I can't ride of these to parts from my taskbar. Left and right taskbar works fine, but top or bottom there are 2 lines and I can't find were or how to change them. I'm using visual style builder and this is my very first vs for windows 7. Before I added left and right taskbar image I got more this things on my top/bot taskbar. So is it bug, wrong settings or I'm just crazy? I researched few times before decide to ask for help.
Also can't find were can I change in explorer, search box, hover color, cause now my explorer are light, text grey but when pressed on search box it becomes black and looks ugly. Even if I don't use search box often, I'm just a perfectionist so small things like this can't let me breath Tongue
Sorry about my English, not my native language, but hope some one have answers on my questions.

1) Can't see your screen pic. I get a 403 Forbidden error. So I can't see your Taskbar problem.

2) In 1.4 XMLS: Address, Breadcrumb & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > <1> > <2> can't be transparent or it'll turn black
In 1.6 XMLs: Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > Background > Focused can't be transparent or it will turn black

See if you  have a black line in your images at:

1.6 XMLs: Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > TaskBar > BackgroundBottom
                Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > TaskBar > BackgroundTop

1.4XMLs: Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > TaskBar > <1>
               Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > TaskBar > <2>

Thank you, I forgot that windows 7 don't use one file for taskbar as it was with vista were you could use one costume image with borders. Saved me so many time Smiley
And very nice help, one of the best and fastest answers.

Hey guys, have big problems now with my vs. Few days ago I gave my vs for some friends to test it, and it works fine. After that I changed few more things and before upload it decide to test it. Wile I setup theme with vsb it works perfect, bet if I copy-paste in windows theme folder I only get basic version from my theme, like it turning off aero when enabling vs.

Could it be graphic resource bug?

Never mind, never change documentation  Sad

Hey guys, need help again Smiley
Can't find color or image location. It's not btnface color :/

Also dunno if there is any possibility to change/remove taskband colorization - red, yellow, blue (fx when moving mouse over)

1) Don't have Photoshop so I'm not sure. You may want to try Toolbars, Headers, & Rebar > Rebar > Rebar image. Or do a color search.

2) Buttons take on the color of the icon. Only way to stop this is go to Control Panel > Performance Information & Tools > Adjust Visual effects  and uncheck Animations in the taskbar and Start Menu box. But this will kill your Flash button.

Thanks, well animation are fine, but color  pick annoying, simply doesn't fit main theme. I think I'll leave it were it is since can't be changed.
Solution - making non transparent image Smiley

And about photoshop it's not there, well at least I hope these are not one of little squares with borders :X I'll keep searching, thanks for fast respond Smiley

Thank you Bongo for replay Smiley I'm now on laptop, and with desktop pc I didn't saw grey color much in boxes and other places, after getting laptop I was in sock about how ugly that grey looks like not only in photoshop, but in all popup menus etc. So I was trying to fix that and I did except photoshop. Didn't know it's impossible, thought I missed some thing but seems not Smiley
