The reflections are the streaks in the background of Aero windows.

Well since there's already an image there, that would answer your question.

Look at the image in, for instance, Windows and Caption Buttons > Aero > Dwm Window > Reflections > Main

What do you see? It's a semi-transparent graphic right?

1) You only see them where there's transparency
2) Good place to see them is in Aero Peek or when you hold down the mouse during Aero Snap
3) You can make them more or less visible by adjusting their OPACITY:INT values
4) You can change them by opening them in an image editor. Or just replace them altogether.

My objective is to have the reflection image & desktop BG align seamlessly. So as the only distinction between the two is the window border/content. Yet this has proven to be quiet more challenging than I thought. Trying different variations in resolution & the display type [tile, stretch, center etc.] yet, still slightly off. I am determined to achieve my goal. Im not an expert but I think the problem lies within how the image is displayed on the desktop. As if the picture is displayed slightly off the screen, [1x -1y]. If that makes sense. Anybody have a cleaver trick or something I am overlooking?

The reflections aren't aligned to the desktop to begin with and they aren't static, they always move about, so they'll always be off.

Other words...impossible? I know your not exactly a beginner when it comes to UI...but your certain this cannot be done? Ugg...I was a bit excited about this. Thank you for your time though, much appreciated.
