Change ALL OF THE STATES: normal, hot, pressed etc. If you can't see it after that you must be blind

1) Send me a link to the theme with that blue section so I can look at it and I'll get back to you.
2) Change the font at Buttons, Boxes & Controls > Buttons > Button > PushButton

Regarding your taskbar,I told you last night it can be done in your theme with quick launch enabled,I've done it,it boots up and stays the same size, you're doing something wrong, that's why it won't work for you.Stick at it ,you'll work it out,all the info is here so there's no point in asking the question over and over....

What am i doing wrong, Dave ? I just followed the instructions here. I changed / modified all the values, but the minimized item on the taskbar doesen't fit, they are smaller, but the taskbar is still the same. I don't understand how did you get this so tiny with the quick launch enabled. Here is your picture from last night http://imageshack.us/f/811/imagetaskbar.jpg/Are you sure you have the quick launch enabled ? It doesen't look like there is a quick launch. Here is my quick launch on the left side, with some items minimized on the taskbar. http://imageshack.us/f/802/quicklaunch.jpg/Maybe you're talking about the pinned to taskbar items ? I guess that's not the same

I don't want a link to your theme. I want a link to the theme with that blue part in it so I can see what it is.

Thanks, 3 am, forget about. PS ; Please, do not give wrong locations to the people, unless you are 100 % sure. The location i was looking for was : buttons, boxes & controls > boxes > combobox > border ( normal, hot, focused, disabled ) Don't answer if you're not sure about the location. Thanks for understanding.

You want that brushed gray look? Here's one way to do it in Gimp:
1) Open the Top Window Frame image in Gimp 2) One at a time use the Fuzzy Selection Tool to click the parts you want to change. 3) Use the Bucket Paint tool to color them gray 4) Use the HSV Noise and Motion Blur Filters to give them texture 5) Keep doing it until you're satisfied 6) Do the same for the side and bottom frames
