Resizing Right Panel of StartMenu

Hi,

how is it possible to fade out the right side of the start panel?
I wasn't able to find the attribute for this.

In Aero: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Aero > Bottom > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height"
In Basic: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Basic > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height"

Also, there are some style hacks that come with vsb that can change the width of both sides.

already tried, doesnt work ... other solutions?
btw: if i use stylehacks for resizing, it works, but there is no stylehack for such a small size

I think I've got it --

Apply a Start Menu Width Stylehack. ( ie: StartPanel Right Pane Width - 140px )

Then go to
-- In Aero: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Aero > Bottom > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height"
-- In Basic: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Basic > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height"

And mod it from there.

doesnt work ... from 140 to > 140 it works without problems, but among it fails.

a statement from invaderjohn would be nice, i think he already solved this problem.

other ideas?

I don't know why it's not working for you, it works fine for me.

Tell us exactly what your trying to do/what you've done.

open any vs, apply the stylehack, goto start-startmenu-panels-aero-bottom-placeslist-change the value to 0, 0, 0, xx. and it doesnt work on aero and basic styles.

but i dont think that this is the right place for doing it. the stylehack changes the width of the panel but the values in placeslist (aero-bottom) stil are the same ???
