How do i remove the search box from the start menu as shown in the picture below ..

Give Start Menu > Panels > Basic > OpenBox and OpenBoxExtended:

CONTENTMARGINS:MARGINS -2000, -2000, -2000, -2000

DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT 0, 0, 261, 0

Or just set the rect size. You don't need to change the CMargins.
