You want to change the button or the icon?

That's Windows Media Player icon. Look for it in wmploc.dll in your system 32 folder.

You can't edit icons with WSB. You have to use an image editor and a resource editor.

Edit the 16 and 32 bit icon images.

3am,

I want to change the button, but for the sake of curiosity which file has the icon? I think it under taskbar and system tray but I am not sure about that!

It seems like I tried to change everything below it.  Where did I go wrong?

Thank you, John

Button: Taskbar & SystemTray > Taskband > Basic > Taskband > Task Item Button
Icon: wmploc.dll in your System 32 folder ( Icon section).

From your picture it looks like you messed up one of your Taskbar & SystemTray > Taskband > Basic > Taskband > Task Item Button images ( there are 10 of them). Find out which one and fix it or replace it with one of the good ones.

Pinned Normal isn't used at all.

I tried everything you suggested, 3am.  But it doesn't show the WMP button. Can you look at what I post? And give me some advice? John Smiley
