I'm going to get Win7 soon + I'll want to port something from Vista (made with VSB) to it. I've got a couple of simple questions I hope somebody will answer:

1) Will it port or not?
2) Unlike in Vista do I have to put everything in a named Theme folder?
3) Can I simply replace the ExplorerFrame.dll bmps with my browseui.dll bmps? Are the bmp numbers the same?
4) Is my shellstyle.dll still good in Win7
5) I have read bmps 632-635 in Shell32 have to be changed for Control Panel appearance. Anything else in Shell32 important to change?

Thanks.

3). Numbers are same... but just some new images there.

i'm not really in to 7themeing atm, but with AveStyler i don't need .theme files,  Huh?
it works exactly like in vista..

btw, for themers i highly recommend it, because you can install and uninstall visual-styles directly from your work folder (you only have to place a "Shell" folder in the work folder)
This is useful for shellstyle concerning testing.

Hmm, but really, think, if you going to release you gonna need .theme file because not many people are using AveStyler Wink .
