Getting rid of this line

How do I get rid of that line? Some time ago I saw one guy that got rid of it, but I can't remember who.

That line is on several images in the shellstyle.dll, images 300, 400, 600, 700.

I don't understand this image.
I think you want to erase the line on left.

This line is part of Folder's Band (upper), and it goes from left to right, so you can't erase only a part.

btw you can use this for adding real nice effects to the shellstyle, like shadow or not-stretchable curves..
