I finished making a windows 7 theme and saved it. The only option was as a .mmstyle.

I'm wondering how to make a the theme sharable, meaning getting the folder and the .theme files so one could copy the contents to C:/Windows/Resources/Themes and just apply the theme via "Personalize". If there is a direct method using Win 7 Style Builder, I haven't found it.

Thx for the help.

just take the aero.theme file and open it with notepad++ and point it to your msstyle file.
so say your theme is called  Black
rename aero.theme to Black.theme (so you don't overwrite the aero.theme file

next open up the new theme file in notepad++
and look for aero.msstyle and change it to Black.msstyle but make sure the path is right
so say you have a folder called Black with your style in it

so it would be
Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\Black\Black.msstyles

hope that helps
