Hi How to changing thses imgs/colors ? https://i.ibb.co/Dtz7jrB/1.jpgIn the windows 8 copy window ( https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2007.0?), the border and background of resume/cancel button in expended mode and the left and right white borders of graphic/progress animation when hover and not hover. https://i.ibb.co/k4gTsDh/2.jpgIn the replacment window, when an option is preselected, what's the path of the white border ? For the 2, i point the arrow at the bottom left of the same popup. https://i.ibb.co/ScD6tYy/3.png - in regedit, when a key is selected in the right panel, how to edit the white border ? https://i.ibb.co/7YFCp3k/4.jpg - in the import explorer window, the textcolor for filename text ? https://i.ibb.co/t4qBzmj/5.jpg - on desktop, the white border and semi-transparent for an selected element ? https://i.ibb.co/wzpfrQt/6.jpg - in resrch result explorer window, when it show you the results founds for your search, what's the path for white horizontal borders ? Thanks in advance.

1) Windows 10 (New Classes) > Copy Close > Button and Windows 10 (New Classes) > Pause > Button Borders: Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Progress Bars > Normal > TransparentBar > Device Storage Background 2) Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ListView > ListItem > HotSelected Explorer & Shell > Shell > TaskDialog > ExpandoButton > ExpandedNormal,Hover,Pressed,Disabled 3) I don't know how to change or remove RegEdit focus rectangle 4) Can't find that textcolor in Dark Mode ( in Default Mode it is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > WINDOWTEXT) 5) Windows 10 (New Classes) > Desktop ListView > ListItem > Hot.Selected etc 6) https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=1258.msg6654#msg6654

1) Windows 10 (New Classes) > Copy Close > Button and Windows 10 (New Classes) > Pause > Button
Borders: Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Progress Bars > Normal > TransparentBar > Device Storage Background
Ok, so it affect the background bot not the white border (the little white points wich bord the elements): https://i.ibb.co/9tjNRhb/1.jpgExemple, if i preselect the play/pause button, the background-color (wich is an img in the msstyle) is not longer here, but the white border always appear, how to edit or delete them ? 2) Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ListView > ListItem > HotSelected Explorer & Shell > Shell > TaskDialog > ExpandoButton > ExpandedNormal,Hover,Pressed,Disabled
Found. 3) I don't know how to change or remove RegEdit focus rectangle
4) Can't find that textcolor in Dark Mode ( in Default Mode it is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > WINDOWTEXT)
OK. 5) Windows 10 (New Classes) > Desktop ListView > ListItem > Hot.Selected etc
Same as for first element Will take a look asap

1) I don't have those white dots which are called a "focus rectangle". I don't know why you have them or how to remove them.
2) If you don't want to change the separator line in explorerframe uifile 40960 then this will keep your searches from automatically showing in content view:
Run gpedit.msc in your run window
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Window Components > File Explorer
enable "Turn off display of snippets in content view mode"

I think this focus rectangle that I need RGB values for is part of the basic theme properties (not Windows 10). Only I'm going to need your expertise... I have this item there in the copy window as shown, and in the right part of my registry editor when I select an item with a simple click, I also have it in the small window to confirm the replacement of an item as in this example: https://i.ibb.co/0VMNkKc/1.jpgEquivalent for olds Windows versions: https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2044.02) If you don't want to change the separator line in explorerframe uifile 40960 then this will keep your searches from automatically showing in content view: Run gpedit.msc in your run window Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Window Components > File Explorer enable "Turn off display of snippets in content view mode" [/quote] Oh nice, will take a look, good!

Like I said: "I don't have those white dots which are called a "focus rectangle". I don't know why you have them or how to remove them" That old remover no longer works and I can't find a new equivalent. I don't have them so it must be possible not to have them...I just don't know the answer

Attached is a zip file containing a UIFILE 40960 text file with the ItemRowLayout SeparatorLine given a height of zero so that it will always be invisible, Drag/drop or copy/paste it on the original ExplorerFrame.dll.mun UIFILE 40960 in the System Resources folder.

Wow, ok very nice ! Effectivly it works, but we must inject back the txt file, or we must rename the extension file type to rc or another one ? And do you extract it as an rc file or just as an simple txt file ?

I extract it as a text file.
But then I have to use the Convertor because part of it is still in hex.
Then I can format and edit it in any text editor.
I copy/paste it back as a text file.

I have test your file in my dll.mun file, but it make my explorer view totaly bugged. For exemple in "My PC" view, it don't show me folders and my drives. I'm going to do the modifications myself, wich edits i have to do exactly ? EDIT 2) If you don't want to change the separator line in explorerframe uifile 40960 then this will keep your searches from automatically showing in content view:
Run gpedit.msc in your run window
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Window Components > File Explorer
enable "Turn off display of snippets in content view mode"
I have test that but the search results view is the same

I don't understand. The only edit I did was change the height of the separator line.
Maybe you are doing something wrong. Maybe you are running some earlier version of Windows. I'm on 20H2. Who knows?
The gpedit worked fine for me. No more automatic content view search results.
I don't know what else to tell you.

I think that i use an other ISO version of Windows 10 than you, wich could explain the fact that i don't have the option to disable the UEFI security settings at boot, wich could explain that the base code of my "ExplorerFrame.dll" file is different from yours, wich could explain that i have never find the code part to change the text color of "Display by" in the control panel, etc etc. So it's why i ask wich modifications in details are needed in the dll.mun file to try to find and edit them in my system files.. These are only suppositions, but after a while I come to ask myself these famous questions, you see?

I already told you several times: Change the height or rgb colors of the ItemRowLayout Separator Line in UIFILE 40960 I even showed you a picture of where to change it: https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2539.msg14515#msg14515If you want me to do it for you put your explorerframe.dll.mun in a zipfile and attach it to a post. I'll do the change and send it back to you. Otherwise I've got nothing left to say
