shellstyle in vsb ?

i was just wondering, dont know if this question has been up before, in that case im sry,

but is there a possible way that u can implant something for the shellstyle? to edit it in a esier way than trough resource hacking? like explorer background color and texst colors and such wich involves in the shellstyle?
cuz that takes alot of time changing al that when u resource hack!

great idea, a tool named vista style builder should almost contain that thing but i dont know how hard it is as a developer

I've had some of the same questions about the Folderband. I've been opening up restorator 07 every time I need to change the Folderband.

Ave, can you implement a more in-depth shellstyle editing?

There's no documentation on DirectUI XML so really it would take a lot of effort and time to make compatibility. Not to mention the effort and time it would make to research each part.

How about the stuff we already know about?

We could get VSB to treat the xml as a text doc, and have it swap some text.
Theoretically, just use a few IF and ELSE statements. (yes, I know it will be harder than that, I've had my hand at programming a little too)
