Ok thanks, with W11 there is nothing there to change the cross

That used to be

Taskbar & System Tray > Taskband > Aero > Taskband Extended UI > Horizontal > Thumbnails & Controls > Close Caption 

in 7 & 8 days. No idea where it is in SAB. I can't remember if it ever had a glyph image property.

1) Put the file in the StyleHacks folder in AveApps > Windows Style Builder

2) Click Import Stylehack and apply the file from the dropdown menu

3) If nothing or something bad happens then the file was made incorrectly

I'm trying to import a stylehack, but nothing happens

This is to import images to the taskbar among other things, with this "Windows 10 1903 Import Fix"

Open and close the Show Controls window before testing. You only have to do this once per session.
 
Also be sure your theme files are patched.
