I don't think it is possible to use Win 7 msstyle in Win8, sorry, You need to wait till We will get WSB 1.6
If You use it in best case system will looks "strange" in wors will not boot properly or something, You will need to recover via Win 8 repair tools...

Yep I can also confirm this, I had a look as well using Restorator and all the images are still in there for the start menu, now all we need is a way to bring it back as well as the start button lol

One more question, did You have a look in 9200 RTM aero.msstyles? In CP teher is still full Menu Start, same thing in RTM or they have remove it?

Will 1.6 support also Windows 7? And did we will get free update to 1.6 from 1.5?

I've problem with WSB 1.5, when I'm importing img. into msstyle (no mater if I'm just replace or add new one) this img. duno show up in WSB window, to solve this I must switch between classes, so simply just click one class above and back to my img. then You an see it again, this is bit annoying lol.
WSB is latest form official ftp, class map and rest is 1.6, class map is changed to add explorer background img.

If You need more info or screens just let me know.

I've same problem, but I'm facing it also on preview pane, Panda X fix don't work for me, some solutions?

Edit:

Fixed, I've remove whole Shell folder from temp, after it everything work as should.
