Help / Windows 7 / Re: Address Bar/Breadcumb Bar - Vertically Centre Text

Hurrah! Thanks so much that worked. Whilst I can see the actual permitted height is hard coded (or at least set somewhere else) because the bottom and top of my glow is slightly cut off, doing this and changing the size of the font to 18-20 solves the problem, and effectively retains the look I was going for.
Thank you both for your efforts, was so frustrated after trying. Didn't think of negative content margins.

Thank you for the help, but it appears that whatever the size of the rebar band is, the address bar seems to be a maximum fixed height, in addition to which it does not seem to centre itself in the rebar band. I'd be really grateful for anything else you can suggest, as I've been grappling with this for a few days, sure that there must be a way of fixing it, but entirely unable to find it.

Help / Windows 7 / Address Bar/Breadcumb Bar - Vertically Centre Text
|

Please see the below image. The navbar is large enough to accommodate the text, but for some reason, there seems to be a margin applied to the top of the navbar. I have tried tinkering with the base:band and the breadcrumb item and address bar margins, all to no avail. Any ideas? Any help much appreciated. BTW, realise it looks a little ridiculous with the font this large, but going for a particular style here.

Help / Windows 7 / Re: WMP Navigation Pane Bug on Import of Vista .msstyle

I'm not intending to bump this again, but as I still haven't managed to find a solution (and as I still, perhaps foolishly, use WMP) I just wondered if anyone could help at all, or at least let me know if they have encountered the same problem (because misery loves company). Thanks in advance.

Windows Style Builder / Bug Reports / Re: Crashes and stylehack bug.

I also have the "import images" bug, with all images being replaced by no images (0x0). Is there a solution?
Given the rarity of this issue, I wonder if it might be connected to the fact that I have a drive letter before C: (i.e. I have windows installed on C:, but my secondary partition is on B:), and if therefore StyleBuilder is trying to draw the images from the wrong location?

Help / Windows 7 / WMP Navigation Pane Bug on Import of Vista .msstyle
|
on: February 06, 2010, 10:02:25 pm

I have recently imported a vista msstyle to Windows 7. Generally, aside from a few minor bugs, the process went smoothly, and I have ironed out the remaining problems. I have, however, an issue with WMP, in that the navigation pane is now black (shown in image below). Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a solution? I have searched on the forums, but couldn't find anything relevant. Sorry if this has been reported before.

Help / Windows Vista / Re: rundll32 Error on Preview of Theme

Well, thank you for suggesting that. I had read that on the other post from earlier entitled "bug...", but I thought that the responses implied that this was fixed by a later update.
Anyway, it works for me, and so simple to fix. Thanks to all for the very prompt and friendly help. Great program, really loving it.

Help / Windows Vista / Re: rundll32 Error on Preview of Theme

At first, I thought this too, so I started a brand new theme using the aero template, made no changes to the default and then then tried to bring it up in the theme applet. It gives me the same problem. Its the same with any theme that I save using VSB, but other custom themes work fine.

Help / Windows Vista / Re: rundll32 Error on Preview of Theme

I'm using a desktop with Vista Home Premium SP0 (external drive problems with SP1) and I use this to produce and save the themes, but I also have a laptop with Vista Home Premium SP1 and the visual styles won't load in the theme window on that either, giving the same error.
/edit:
\I've downloaded other custom styles built using VSB and otherwise, and these all work fine, it just seems to be happening to the themes that I compile myself.

Help / Windows Vista / rundll32 Error on Preview of Theme
|
on: February 08, 2009, 09:21:12 am

I seem to have a problem where any theme that I save using VSB, although it can be applied using VSB directly, crashes the theme applet. When I click on the name of the theme in the theme applet, rather that previewing the theme above as normal, it instead causes a rundll32 error ("rundll32 has stopped working").
Does anyone know why this is happening and if so, how to prevent it?
I read through another thread where this was mentioned, but in an earlier version of the program. I already used BCMapFixer to see if that would solve the problem but to no avail.
I wouldn't really mind applying themes only through VSB, but unfortunately, once the computer restarts, where the user has one of the problem visual styles set as the theme, the user won't login and you have to manually point the theme somewhere else in safe mode or on another user account.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
