I need to remove the shadows around the window frames completely. I know you can just turn of shadows in system properties, but Iwant remove shadows while still keeping glow on the close and min buttons. I imported the frames images from shadowless frames, but the shadows are still there.

where can i find the areas highlighte din the image.

how will I know which one to edit if there is like 6 of them and all have the same text and nowhere to enter the color.

How to change the background colour of a window? I have tried changing it in window color and appearance but it still appears white. Im talkin about the background that is in documents or pictures or other folders.

ive almost complete my theme now, but thees one image which I can not just find, ive searched through every single property and nothing. In documents when clicking on a file and then clicking on a blank space there is a blue border, where can I find this?

dnt wry i had the same issue had to test out all the different taskbars until I finally got it.

your still editing the wrong image, see my image that uploaded for correct one.

other solution for the border:
go to Lists, Menus & Tabs > Menu > PopUpBorders and try with "0, 0, 0, 0" for the Sizingmargins

for the highlight in explorer: Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ListView > ListItem > Normal, Hot etc

tried the margins 0, still same. and ive already changed the images in listitem but they only appear in the desktop, documents and other folders still appear as the default ones, there must be something else.

never mind found it. it was in windows 7>explorer

i think your looking in the wrong place the basic taskbar for windows 7 is in windows 7>taskbar and tray notify>basic>taskbar

i get the same problem as you when ever i want to save a theme or test it I would get erros or it would stop responding. One way Ive sorted this out is when you select a theme to edit select the default aero theme in the resources folder, then save it as anythin you want and it will save and work properly. If you get a testing error, then try changing an image and it should work fine for me it does anyway. sometimes you may have to press save or est themes a couple of times until its successful.
