I'm downloading Windows 8.1 right now to test. Maybe they have changed how certain properties affect some parts. Either that, or the IDs are wrong. Here is all the hack modifies/adds:
I asked one of my friends (DBlake on DeviantArt) to do it for me since I'm not that great at WSB myself. I hope he'll do it; else I'll have to do it myself and just have him host it on DA since he's a bit more well-known (relatively speaking) than I am.
This is my first stylehack (released anyway) so please bare with me.
I was messing around with WSB the other day and came up with this very useful hack for those of us that hate the menu gutters. I call this "simple" because I've only added/modified 4 properties and added/modified no images.
I've been having this issue for quite a while. This is the first post on these forums for me, but I've had WSB for a while. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes for the bug to happen, and sometimes it takes 20 minutes. the GUI gets very glitchy with visual bugs everywhere. Any dialog opened besides the main one (even the "do you want to save" prompt) are invisible/hidden. If you know the correct amount of tabs/arrow-keys to press, you can still "use" the invisible/hidden interface. This didn't ever happen (IIRC) in the "old" 1.5 builds prior to the ribbon being added.
