Lots of stuff has changed.

Mainly in the taskbar. Backgrounds, buttons, flyouts, jump lists etc.

Some is different in the msstyle (don't expect everything to be in the usual place). Much isn't in the msstyle at all anymore. A lot of it is XAML now.

XAML is mostly in C:\Windows\SystemApps\ShellExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy in dlls like JumpView, ClockFlyoutExperience etc which I don't know how to edit yet.

There's no import button or stylehack. You'll have to port 7 and 8 msstyles manually.

That's all I am fairly sure about. Maybe somebody else can tell you more.

Thanks for the info so all theme for 10 will be incomplete because of XAML change over?

Sorry to ask if its been covered but i haven't updated my theme since 8.1 and i need some info on how to do so and the best way to do so?

Should i start from scratch or is there a upgrade button i can use?
Has much changed from Windows 8.1 to 10 with the configuration of the msstyles?

So i thought i would update my theme to the windows 8.1 Update 1 msstyles after updating it and saving it windows will not load it just closes down the Personalisation window any ideas?

Nope i have found away it crashes ill send you the files.

It never really crashed importing or exporting images just going though the menus i remember it crashes twice when i was changing the TaskBand around Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBandExtendedUI > Horizontal > Touch, I dont really think the crash is related to saving it feels to me more like a error which causes it to crash like a glitch when WSB is running.

Just updating images or saving my theme i will send you a save that WSB crashed on.

After spending around 2 hours trying to update my windows 8 theme to 8.1, WSB could of crashed almost around 15 times also corrupting your msstyles some times when it crashed, Also some times i would go to save my theme and it would also crash doing so, So the only way i got to update my theme was to save it ever 10 minutes then back up my msstyles so it wouldn't get corrupted.
