Title: Editing User Pic in Win 7 Post by: nopd11 on December 11, 2009, 05:20:57 am Hello, I'm having some trouble editing the user pic bmp in explorer.exe
Here is what I get > (http://i45.tinypic.com/11ttpo3.png) As you can see, it has a black backround and the gloss is whiteish, not transparent like it should be =( Anyone know how to edit this property correctly?? To the OP: What image editor are you using to create the bitmap? I'm using Photoshop CS3. Perhaps I'm going about it the wrong way. What I did was extract user pic .bmp from explorer.exe, opened it in Photoshop, pasted a .png picture over it , deleted the original picture, made a black backround and saved it. It's just that no one ever made a thumbnail handler to show the transparency.
