Title: Formatting UIFILEs for readability. Post by: Panda X on December 02, 2009, 08:34:11 pm For those who edit the shellstyle you know what a mess it is in there. To format it to a regular XML layout so you can understand it better I recommend Kaxaml (http://www.kaxaml.com/).
Just open the program and drop in the UIFILE and on the left click on Xaml Scrubber. I use the settings [Disabled, All on one line, Checked, Unchecked, Unchecked] though you can have whatever you prefer. Title: Re: Formatting UIFILEs for readability. In fact, i have a question. I only made one visual style, i'm workin on my 2nd. For this first one, i did not use WSB, did not buy it yet. I remember i edited the shellstyle for some text colors. Now i'm pretty sure Kaxaml must be useful for all themers. And now i wonder, what sort of things can be edited with this app, that i can't do with WSB ? Title: Re: Formatting UIFILEs for readability. Post by: 3am on December 02, 2009, 09:39:00 pm Kaxaml just reformats UI files to make them easier to read. Has nothing to do with actual editing.
Watch Panda"s video in Tutorials. Title: Re: Formatting UIFILEs for readability. Post by: Vzdorjii on December 02, 2009, 09:55:39 pm Hmmmm owkaayyy, hard to understand for me.
