Title: Bigger Round Corners doesnt work
Post by: madalien on October 01, 2009, 10:10:49 am
Hi

I tried several hours in setting up the margins and stuff. Perhaps you can say me what I should do that the frame look like it should. the corner is kind of stretched

or is it impossible to use bigger corners in vista?

you definitely have to redraw the corners and set the fitting margins to them..

modifing the existing Frames only by new margins doesn't work.

DWM's marginalizing system is incomprehensible though.

indeed. it seems that it has it's own internal margins behind it.. but they are to handle in a special range..
(the dimaond substyle of an older VS from me has completely different settings, but it took it's time to get it properly displayed)

i've thought about it and i guess the larger corners are only possible with a wider glass frame.
the corner cannot go into the inner window part (where the folderband x-axis-position begins), as seen in the preview.

@sunbeam2000: i made new corners, the theme looks almost like the original vista theme.
@panda x: the system is incomprehensible weird :D

is there somewhere a library of standard problems that I didn't run directly into everyone? :)

thx for your help!

could that be, that ther is a layer that defines the place where the back of an frame is blured? because this is independent to the top caption grafik.
