I want to edit this small windows, but now I don't know how open one of this to test it.
Anyone knows a quick way to open a tool window?

hm I've seen the small windows in Paint.net if you have that.

Also the help button is on the controls preview, right next to the close button.

I've a problem with this tool window.

As you see in the image, I painted with pink plain colour 2 pixels height for inner border.
But applied, I see a gradient in this pink colour. Why is this happening?

I still trying it, but I don't understand why appears this gradient color.
Anyone knows?

please try a complete different color (blue or black for this line) and look if it still appears.
i have an idea, but i'm not sure..

Yes, is still happening with other colours, and only in top and bottom. I don't understand it.

Now, I see that I have to create a thicker border (but I don't understant why): not with an only pixel, but with 3.
Margins was well adjusted, so I don't know where was the problem. But now it seems that with a 3 pixel border this gradient dissapeared.

It's all to do with the first context margin value in the properties for the top graphic. That value states where the innerborder starts within the image. Tweaking that value should allow you to correct that gradient issue...

I've tried to change this value. See the next image:

The default value is 7. But in my image there's 8 pixels, so the error should be this content margin. I changed it to 8, but the gradient still appearing (but different). And, Obviously, change it to 9 it spoil it more. -- Look at bottom frame too.
Seeing this, I'm sure that the correct value SHOULD be 8, but it doesn't appear correctly.

So, the solution that I saw is change this only pixel to a 3 pixel square. This is the method in bottom frame, and with default content margins it seems well rendered.

It's a really mistery...

Probably was more than one solution to this but simplest seemed to be streching the image by 2 pixels and so making that black center pixel 3 wide. Then using sizing margins: '3, 3, 3, 3' and a content margin value of '8, 0, 0, 0' seemed to achieve what you were after. Possibly 9 as the content margin looks better, that bits up to you.

Yeah that's probably the only way to fix it. DWM isn't fun to work with for that reason.
