Title: Re: window caption complex shape Post by: koumy on July 04, 2017, 07:51:30 am What I was trying to hardly figure was how to draw complex caption shapes , for example :
(https://s16.postimg.org/qrisrfget/Snap1.png) Have a top caption having the part outside the yellow borders deleted. when I test I 'm still viewing the deleted part as it wasn't transparent But I remembered a reply from you on an old post I think , saying to OP it wasn't possible to edit caption shape directly Title: Re: window caption complex shape Post by: 3am on July 04, 2017, 01:18:02 pm Oh. Yeah I don't think that can be done.
I can make bits and pieces of the Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Top images transparent but not in the complex sculpted way you want. :( Useless junk like this lol: (http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu41/3am_2009/stuff2_zpsbh5jcmxv.png) Title: Re: window caption complex shape Post by: koumy on July 04, 2017, 03:35:43 pm wow, that said you could make some part transparent when I couldn't !
How did you made that , I can't have tranparent part , deleted or blank part still appears ? that's what is making me crazy lol and PNG should do that obviously for example here ( the part blue here is supposed to be transparent ! appears black on testing ) :S (https://s10.postimg.org/l21yjb5h5/Image4.png) Could you share your " frame" to test ( seriously :D ) Title: Re: window caption complex shape Post by: 3am on July 04, 2017, 04:47:37 pm Attached is the active top frame image.
Title: Re: window caption complex shape Post by: koumy on July 04, 2017, 09:55:50 pm hmm couldn't do anything with your file but thank you for link :)
damn , have to messed a lot to get this shape result but there still is some blur :( (https://s7.postimg.org/mauadr6kr/Snap2.png) Otherwise the only way to get a perfect shape with transparent parts is to use and play around : Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Details > Shadows > Top But it adds more height to titlebar and caption buttons .. bah :D |
