Title: Image Question DWM Window Top Frame Post by: jakobs on February 13, 2009, 02:45:04 pm hi, me again :P
(http://www.abload.de/img/quessss5ac.png) left explorer, right firefox how it should not be and how it should be ... (i know that the red part of the second firefox is too much on this screen, it was made with photoshop just for demonstrating how i want it) ive seen styles where vista uses the top of "top frame image" for smaller top frames and otherwise the whole one (like on the explorer), why not on mine? is there a specific value to set? i dont think that it has something to do with the heigth of the image. thanks in advance, jakob Title: Re: Image Question DWM Window Top Frame Post by: mdtauk on February 13, 2009, 04:04:04 pm The DWM stretches the image to fill the height of the top non client area. only the top 6pixels remain unstretched so the corner curves don't get distorted.

Title: Re: Image Question DWM Window Top Frame Post by: mdtauk on February 13, 2009, 04:43:55 pm The top Border image is stretched by the DWM system, that is why the grey is at the top in firefox, and is normal in explorer.

Title: Re: Image Question DWM Window Top Frame Post by: mdtauk on February 13, 2009, 05:03:24 pm I don't think the sizing margins work, I tried myself. And if you made it bigger I think it would end up squishing it so it is smaller. In short, I don't think its possible. At least not in DWM...

Windows and Caption Buttons > Aero > Dwm Window > Frames > Normal > Top Change SIZINGMARGIN:MARGIN into x, x, height of the first part (std: 6), x Title: Re: Image Question DWM Window Top Frame Post by: Spitzen on February 13, 2009, 05:38:55 pm I'm not sure but check this addon for firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7336
