Title: Windows 10 Support and Info? Post by: LiveOrDie on July 14, 2015, 09:38:00 am Sorry to ask if its been covered but i haven't updated my theme since 8.1 and i need some info on how to do so and the best way to do so?
Should i start from scratch or is there a upgrade button i can use? Has much changed from Windows 8.1 to 10 with the configuration of the msstyles? Any other info i should know thanks . Title: Re: Windows 10 Support and Info? Post by: 3am on July 14, 2015, 01:45:35 pm Lots of stuff has changed.
Mainly in the taskbar. Backgrounds, buttons, flyouts, jump lists etc. Some is different in the msstyle (don't expect everything to be in the usual place). Much isn't in the msstyle at all anymore. A lot of it is XAML now. XAML is mostly in C:\Windows\SystemApps\ShellExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy in dlls like JumpView, ClockFlyoutExperience etc which I don't know how to edit yet. There's no import button or stylehack. You'll have to port 7 and 8 msstyles manually. That's all I am fairly sure about. Maybe somebody else can tell you more. Title: Re: Windows 10 Support and Info?
