Title: Windows 7 x64 Thin Taskbar help Post by: supasye on September 25, 2012, 05:58:30 pm Hi, I'm new to theming, and I purchased this application specifically because I want to make my task bar thinnger. 24 pixels. I go to the style hack and apply it but nothing changes. I save the theme and apply it but still nothing changes.
Maybe it's a stylehack for vista? If so, is there one for windows 7? Thanks in advance. To change it in 7 change the CONTENTMARGINS:MARGINS to 10, 10, 4, 4 at Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Basic > TaskBand (SmallIcons) > TaskItemButton

Since Windows really has a minimum icon size of 16x16 if you were to make them smaller it'd look blurry. And the only way to change the icon size on the taskbar, to my knowledge, is to change them everywhere. Though I can't remember off the top of my head how to. And I havent been able to fix it.. I havent found anything similar on this forum either..
Every time i restart my computer, the system tray goes nuts.. the bottom right with the clock.. The icons space apart and keep on moving.. the only way to put it back to normal is to reapply the style. Below is a picture to show you what i mean. Read about something similar. Turned out the themer had wrong sizing margins values ( should be 2, 2, 14, 14) and a content margins property that shouldn't have been there at Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Toolbar > Button Title: Re: Windows 7 x64 Thin Taskbar help Post by: supasye on October 11, 2012, 03:20:23 am The sizing margins there are set to 5,5,12,11
