Title: [RESOLVED] BUG in MS Paint and Wordpad Post by: JoCe-from-France on May 01, 2012, 10:49:28 pm Hi,
I have just noticed this, and I don't know at all what I did that could have caused this very annoying thing : With every visual styles but mine (base / non-base / named "aero" or not) : (http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/9259/hidpibugnormal.png) Normal DPI Now with my vs : (http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/2482/hidpibug.png) DPI = 15 000 :( My advice : check it regularly while developing yours. (Please don't hesitate to show me a direction where to look for in order to fix this...) :'( Title: Re: BUG in MS Paint and Wordpad Post by: Panda X on May 02, 2012, 12:50:56 am How do you even get Windows to set a DPI of 15,000? No display device has 15,000 pixels per inch. The standard monitor has ~100.
Title: Re: BUG in MS Paint and Wordpad Post by: JoCe-from-France on May 02, 2012, 01:22:22 am Sorry i was joking :D, I meant to say that all is much bigger. As if any DPI setting was mysteriously changed only for those ribbons.

Title: Re: BUG in MS Paint and Wordpad Post by: 3am on May 02, 2012, 11:34:55 am Might have something to do with your type and size of font. Take a look at this for example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2659505/windows-ribbon-framework-how-to-change-font-face-and-size
Title: Re: BUG in MS Paint and Wordpad Post by: JoCe-from-France on May 02, 2012, 06:40:50 pm Bingo!
Thanks 3am! & thanks PandaX (feels like I already said that recently no ?) for your so precious help!! That was that : I've put back the MSGBOXFONT to Segoe 9pt and the ribbons have come back to their original "zoom states". From now, I "just" have to find whats the impact of this to keep the lovely tiny pixel fonts where I want...It might not help me to get out my release faster :D. thx again!!!! |
