Title: 2 questions
Post by: 3am on June 15, 2010, 06:32:34 pm
I started making another map. But I found 2 things I know are in msstyles ( because I have themed them) but I can't find now :S

1) The left portion on the top. The right portion is Styles > Control Panel Styles > Content Pane > Fill Color Hint. But now I can't find the left portion.
2) The tiny border on the pink Cue Banner.

I know they can be done. I just don't remember where.

Thanks.

Do you have Restorator 2007?

That color is right here: Buttons, Boxes & Controls > Scroll Bars & Trackers > TrackBar > <default> (BORDERCOLOR:COLOR)

Yeah I have it.

Thanks. That was the top left. Tried everything but that.

Now for the Cue Banner border

Now for the Cue Banner border

In restorator you can find properties like that easily. Gradients are the easiest as they're located right next to the previous property. Hit Ctrl+Shift+F and enter the property in DirectUI form (Class, Part, State, ID)

Sometimes it'll be in all caps as is the case here. Look for the gradient code where this is and get the other value.

You can also search for the Cue Banner code and see if there's a reference to the border. I would do it but I don't know which Cue Banner you edited as there are like 30.

It's Styles > ControlPanelStyle > BannerArea.

I'll check it out...and learn how to really use Restorator.

Thanks again :)

Styles > ButtonStyle > RadioButton (FILLCOLORHINT:COLOR)

Yep..that's it.

2 seriously non-intuitive locations.

Thanks a lot :)
