All I can tell you is everything on the left is a combination of:

Fonts & System Metrics > DkShadow:Color
                                 > MenuText:Color
                                 > WindowText:Color

Couldn't find textcolor for "Google".

I'll look around.

Hmm thanks, I appreciate it unfortunately I can only change the http:// with the DKShadow3D:color otherwise If I change the Menu / Window Text:Color then not only goes it change google.com but also some text in my Windows Explorer. Anyway thanks a bunch for the reply and if you do end up finding "Google" It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

A little late...but the textcolor for "Google" or "Bing" in IE8 is:

Vista Legacy > Address, Breadcrumb & Search > Search > Edit > Aero > Normal > Active > TextColor:Color
Vista Legacy > Address, Breadcrumb & Search > Search > Edit > Aero > Normal > Inactive > Textcolor:Color
