Title: Start menu item background?? (pic inside) Post by: geoken on December 14, 2008, 05:35:56 am I'm trying to figure out how to change the background for the start menu items on the left side (ie programs, search results, etc.) In the below pic my left panel image is a single, solid fill but Vista is pulling the image for the programs background from somewhere else.

Try searching "argb(160,50,50,50)", "argb(255,50,50,50)", and various other combinations. I think VSB is case sensitive with these queries so you may want to add a space after each comma. Title: Re: Start menu item background?? (pic inside) Post by: jakobs on January 22, 2009, 08:29:46 am go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\VistaStyleBuilder\StyleHacks and copy the file in here.
Then go back to VSB, click the StyleHacks-Button and search for it. Title: Re: Start menu item background?? (pic inside) Post by: RBCC on January 23, 2009, 05:21:01 am Can I use more than one stylehack? :'( ;) :) John
